I record rap vocals with the 770 and by far the best mic i ever brought.Shit is masterful. Esp if u are an audi engineer and knows what to do with vocals. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 people think i pay thousands to record with the qaulity i get from the 770. Plus many reviews i seen never explain the small switch on the back of the 770. Shit is really a dope mic

To me it sounds close to an Electro-Voice RE20 or Shure SM7B. Kinda darkish and "dynamic".

The real product is the wood shell. If they made shells that could be used with existing mics, they might find a market for that.

Yeah it doesn't sound too bad. The board says made in where? I couldn't really resolve the letters that came after that into an actual place. I would pay maybe $99 for that. A price of $250 is just a bit much, especially when you consider everything else it's competing with at that price point.

Like you: love the sound…but there are some many mics in that $250 that make you question that price tag, and even $300 range I’d save up the extra money to get…I might be motivated at $125-150 for sure!

Never seen that Mic before! LOL and I like it. I really like the wood aesthetic. I agree with the price point. At and around the $250 mark there is an abundance of options. At $100 to $125 this becomes a different story. But now I know if I ever need to make some content and want to show some wood... this might be how to do it. LOL . Thanks for sharing.

An innuendo-address mic! Fall asleep at your workstation and you can say you woke up with wood (microphone). OK, enough of that. Medium-diaphragm electret with potentially unshielded electronics, for $250? That's a hard nope. $50? Maybe. $35? OK.

Did I read it correctly, only 1 XLR? For on-the-go and battery powered that is great. But in a studio where you have access to mains. I would go for some thing else. Still the battery powered aspect is pretty good!

i've been wanting one of these however Fifine says yes it does Reverb but none of these reviews have showed that off. So did they tell me wrong?

comparing this mic to similar form factor and use cases mics on your channel. this is clearly the best one. it just sounds like a human being talking to me, not someone talking through a mic. WAY clearer. this is a completely underrated marvel

Dang! I bought mine for like 70 bucks way back when. Still love it, though. Great deal for those that are new to it!

P220 with no processing and no roll off and it sounds amazing the low end is absolutely amazing and the top end is well within what it should sound like!! It is better than the P100 if you think I'm wrong then use these two in a full recording mix with strong vocals female and male, the P220 blows the P100 out of the water using Pro Tools and Reaper through a Focusrite 2i2 4th gen. The problem with these reviews is there done (backwards) the reviewer should have to listen to two different mic examples' side by side (not knowing what either mic is) and then give their opinion on the better mic. I've done these types of test a lot and most the time they can't even tell me the difference that's how close most of these mics are to each other!!

What kind of noise floor does it have? I have a slightly older / similar Zoom portable interface, whose main problem is it is it has a higher noise floor than I'd like.

Don't tell anyone, but this set is down to $11 at Microcenter . . . I was sure it'd be flagged as a mistake when i picked it up, but nope!

Am I just not experienced enough in that tiny differences of sound-quality to hear the difference or does it really sound exactly the same. Same clearness but like a fraction of the cost and way more versatile in use through the USB/XLR switching feature. I'm really a beginner so yk but I only see 400€ (I'm European) and I'm gonna run...
